1.1 Product Description
Full standard fire test machine comprehensive GB, lEC and BS standards. The structure and performance of the combustion testmachine contains fire characteristics test, water and fire resistance test and mechanical vibration and fire resistance test. This instrument adopts computer software to control and monitor the test process of the current, voltage, gas flow, the test results ofthe curve can be output to print. lt is suitable for mineral insulated cables with rated votage not exceeding 0.6~1Kv, and can keep the circuit intact for a long timeunder flame conditions. In the national standard fire-resistant based on the addition of the British fire-resistant cable standard BS6387"in the case of fire to keep the circuit intact cable performance requirements specification".

1. BS Fire Resistance Test
1.1 Cable Support System
The cable is horizontally clamped onto one end of the cable sheaththrough a clamp. The middle part of the cable is fixed by two metal rings(spaced 300mm apart), which are grounded to the other metal parts ofthe device. For unarmoured cables with a diameter of less than 10 mmor for other cables that have shifted significantly during the test, threeadditional metal rings are required, each fixed at a distance ofapproximately 150 mm from the original ring.
1.2 Continuous Detection Device
During the test, the current is allowed to pass through all the cores of thecable, a three-phase star connected transformer with sufficient capacityto maintain the maximum allowable leakage current of 2A at the testvoltage. A load is connected to each core wire at the other end of thecable, and a current close to 0.25A is loaded at the rated voltage of thecable.
1.3 BS standard heat source: in line with AGF-1857B, nozzle length610mm burner

1.5 Temperature measurement: 1.5 mm diameter armoured thermometerplaced near the air inlet, 75 mm above the burner, parallel to the burner.1.6 Test flame temperature: 950 + 40 °C
1.7 Specimen: The specimen is a section of the finished product, notless than 1200mm, with 100mm of sheath and covering removed at eachend. The wires at both ends of the cable shall be connected inaccordance with the electrical connection.

2.Mechanical Vibration Resistance and Fire Resistance Test
2.1 BS Fire Resistant lmpact Bracket:
The wall is composed of heat-resistant and flame-retardant materials,and is fixed on two horizontal steel beams, one at the upper part of theboard and the other at the bottom of the board. This board isapproximately 900mm long, 300mm wide, and 9mm thick, and the totalweight of the wall (i.e. board with supporting frame) is 10 + 0.5kg. Eachsteel beam is a square steel pipe with a length of approximately 1m and 25mm. lf filing material is required, it needs to be placed inside the steel beam. The upper steel beam must be fixed on the plate sothat its upper surface is flush with the upper edge of the plate. Each steel beam and plate has a horizontal hole at the outer edge,and its precise position is determined by the specific requirements of the support pad and suppor frame. The wallis bonded to theframe by four rubber bushings, with a diameter of approximately 32mm and a thickness of 20mm.2.2 GB Fire Resistant lmpact Bracket:

Specimen outside diameter of more than 20mm cable, impact test ladder frame consists of a steel frame, ladder frame on the two inthe centre of the vertical steel components can be adjusted to the left and right, the test ladder frame length of 1200 + 100mm, heightof 600 + 50mm, the total mass of the test ladder frame for 24 + 1kg (national standard for 18 + 1kg).
2.3 Heat source: Burners in accordance with AGF-1857B, nozzle length 500 mm2.4 Temperature measurement: an armored thermometer of 1.5 mm diameter, make the thermometer through the wall and keep oneend of the thermometer 8mm-10mm away to the wal. The temperature is measured by the following procedure: In one end of the(ow-carbon steel rod with diameter 3mm + 5%, ength 300mm, tie a thermometer on it, so that it can measure the temperature of therod. Grab the rod and make it close to the flame, keep it 40mm to 50mm far away from the fame. When the flame temperaturereaches to 950ic , the steel rod temperature reaches 400'℃ in 10s to 20s, when the flame temperature reaches to 650 c, the steelrod temperature reaches 400℃ in 20s to 40s.
2.5 Test flame temperature : 950 + 40 ℃.
2.6 Vibration device: composed of a low-carbon steel rod (diameter 25mm + 5%, length 600mm + 5%). The longitudinal section ofthe rod is parallel to the wall and 200mm above the top of the wall. An axis divides it into two parts, 200mm and 400mm, with thelonger part facing the wall. Faling from a parallel position at 60 * C to the middle of the wall at a distance of 30 + 2 seconds.2.6 Test voltage: 100~1000V adjustable.
2.7 Test Current: 100~260mA adjustable
3.BS Water and Fire Resistance Test
3.1 Heat source: in line with AGF-1857B, a burner with a nozzle length of 500 mm.3.2 Temperature measurement: Place an armored thermometer of 1.5 mm diameter under the surface of the cable3.3 Test flame temperature: 650℃ +40C
3.4 Water spray: a shower nozzle mounted on a test stand, in the middle of the burner, the pressure is 250kPa to 350kPa, spray0.25L/m' to 0.30L/m? water around the specimens. This rate measurement requires a collection tray, this tray should have a suficientdepth to make its long axis parallel to the axis of the cable and be center placed. This tray is approximately 100mm wide 400mmlong.
3.5 Specimen: Specimen is bigger than 1500mm from the finished products, and has been done bending test at ambienttemperature, remove sheaths and coating layers of 100mm at each end. The lead wires at the ends of the cable should be properlyhandled in accordance with electrical connections and suggestions of manufacturers3.6 Test voltage: 100 ~1000V adjustable
3.7 Test Current: 100~260mA adjustable
