The 3M cube  wire and cable smoke density tester is mainly used incable or optical cable combustion smoke density measurement system, which is in accordance with the latest GB/T17651 and lEC61034-2013 standards.

Test Index: Optical density (OD) and specific optical density (DS) of the smoke
Measuring Principle: Lambert - Beer Law
Measuring Method: The smoke density is expressed by the fraction of the light transmittance of smoke in the initial light transmittance measured by the optical system. Calculating the maximum specific optical density by the minimum percentage of light transmission.
